■Road To Yamanashi
There were so many sensational topics for SLYSUMMIT 2019, but let’s see SLYSUMIIT Staffs day one “Road to Yamanashi”.
Lowbrain Kaicho Yassan’s Corolla Van which no one thought it gonna make it finished building the day before they leave. However, it started to leak gas from the tank right after he left his house. Immediately, they stopped at Lowbrain leader JJ’s house and fixed.
センセーショナルなトピックが連発した2019年のSLY Summit。まずは恒例、主催の珍道中からスポーツランド山梨までの道中までをフィーチャーしたChapter.1をお届けします。
誰しもが「SLY Summitまで仕上がらない！」っと予想した、LowbrainのBoss YassanのCorolla Vanは出発前夜にようやく路上シェイクダウンにこぎ着けた。
しかし、出発当日に豪快にガソリンが漏れが発生。急遽LowbrainのJJの自宅ガレージにPit in…
出発時刻を大幅ディレイしたものの、仲間達の手を借りて合流ポイントである談合坂サービスエリアに辿り着いた。
Yassan wasn’t the only one had trouble. Lowbrain Ryohei-kun’s hachi got issue with alternator. 4AGclub Naozo-san brought him a spear alternator in the morning next day.
After all the troubles, they arrived at legendary tuning shop Budou-no-ki in nirasaki. However, they were closed, I will try visit there in October FinalBout SSJ2.
トラブルが解消したYassanとは対象的にほかのメンバーにトラブルが続出。LowbrainのRyohei-kunのHachiもオルタネーターが死亡。騙しだまし走行する事は出来たが、翌日入りのヨンエイジイクラブNaozo-sanに新しいオルタネーターを手配して事なきをえた。
一行は伝説の山梨のチューニングショップもとい資料館ともいえるぶどうの樹を訪れた。毎年のように通っているが今年は運が悪く臨時休業。10月に開催されるFinal Boutの際に訪れてみようと思う。
Crazy party animal Genki-kun from Lowbrain couldn’t make it to SLYSUMMIT this year due to helping his friend at Fomula D okuibuki.
So we made it to Yamanashi area 2 hours behind the schedule. After we check in at the hotel,
usually the famous terrible drinking starts every year and end up being naked in the official video.
前夜祭の”性的な悪魔”として君臨していたLowbrainのGenki-kunは今年は不参加。これはGenki-kunの仲間がFormula Dに参戦している為、そのメカニックとして帯同したのであった。仲間の夢を助け合うスピリットってイイね！
さて、当初予定していた時刻の2時間遅れで山梨入りを果たした我々。
This year, I didn’t want that happen so I brought PS4 and Gran Turismo. We started Attack Tsukuba with Cayman GT4CS(with unrealistic sticky tire on).
下ネタを抑制する人道的な支援の為に持ち込んだPS4のGran Turismoでタイムトライアルを開催。ビギナーでも扱いやすいCayman GT4CS(タイヤはアンリアルハイグリップ仕様)でAttack Tsukuba。
John-kun struggled with JDM key config, on the other hand Canadian super mechanic Sebastian came in 57sec, but Lowbrain Racing JJ(his family business is classic mini race shop and Tsukuba is their home course) came in 56sec at the end. Matt arrived at hotel late night, but he refused to play PS4 even though he helps real “Tsukuba Attack”. After the time attack, JJ tried to drift 1000hp BRZ, I couldn’t believe that it was his first time playing this game, he was good.
JDM的なキーコンフィグにクレームを出すJohn-kunを尻目に好タイムを連発するのがCanadaのSuper Mechanic Sebasが57秒台に突入。しかし、Lowbrainの”リアルレーシング担当”JJが56秒台を叩き出したところで決着。レーシングファミリーとしての適応能力の高さを披露した。
夜遅くにMattも合流。筑波Attackを拒否する”Dogfight”が居たなんてな！（笑）
余興でRyohei-kunの2018年仕様のFR-S(BRZ)でJJがドリフト。グリップもドリフトも今日初プレイとは思えないセンスを見せつけた。
We went to bed by 10pm(this never happed past 4years) it was peaceful night except TECHNO BREAK PARTY Gure-san’s monster snoring…..
飲酒は皆ほどほどにして22時に宴終了。TECHNO BREAK PARTY Gure-sanというイビキのバンカーバスターをLowbrainの部屋に押し付けて我々は静かに眠りにつきましたとさ・・・
■Race Day
Since it’s the 5th year at SLY. Entrants don’t even needs to be guide, everyone gets ready in their spot.
2015年にSLY Summitの前身ともいえるイベントが誕生し、今年で実に5回目の開催となるので、運営側の我々も各自も誰も何も言わなくともサーキット内の持ち場の仕事を熟していく。
Running-Free Kaicho showed up for the first time. I was asking him to come out every year, but due to him had to be a family guy, he couldn’t make it. He could only stay for the morning session but it was still cool to see one of the Ikaten legend at Ikaten legend track.
徐々にエントラントも集まり始めたが、ここで前日エントリーの1台が到着。毎年誘ってはいたものの、家族サービス等で参加が叶わなかったイカ天創世記のレジェンド”Running Free Kaicho”である。マシンチェックの為に2ヒートのみの限定参加ではあるが、この登場には多くの人が驚きの表情をみせた。
「座間レッドii」「まーいどまいど♪」イカ天の歴史に残る笑撃と衝撃を世の中に与えたのがとても懐かしい。2019年にKaichoがSports Land Yamanashiを走るという事実は、本当に驚異的な事だよね。その場に立ち会えた事を一生自慢できるかも（笑）
Genki-kun不在の為、ドラミはサラリと終了し、ヤバそう走の第1ヒートがいよいよ開始される・・・誰がヤバい事になるのか・・・見逃せない！
