■SCN 2019 Over View
Since Tokyo Olympics 2020 is coming that, last year was going to be the last time. But, for some reason, OdaibaNOP(No Operation area) was available and SCN was thrown March, 2019.
Over 1000 cars showed up for the Last SCN in Odaiba.

It was Shining like a jewelry. Window glass was incredibly clearness took all the car sommeliers breath away. I don’t know much about classic American cars, but I knew that this car was the car of the day. Hotrod/Lowrider’s world where “trends” don’t matter is very interesting.
■Tokyonur’s Choice
This could call misunderstanding, but When I see Panda AE86 I get the feeling “Hum another Panda, it probably won’t surprise me” because Panda is too stereotype color for AE86.
I’m not sure if he took that as his advantage, but sometimes they surprise me like Inazumaworx Ikeda-san’s 86.
Back to the car show. There was a Panda 3door Levin. Most of the eyes were takin by 4AG 510 Bluebard sat next to it. Its not the same as Inazuma Worx, or SNR. It has whole different approach on today’s AE86. It’s not just a Panda has trendy Rotiform. Inside, and Outside, Its got so much highend parts. “STATUS hard buckets and Racing Development Okuyama tower bar with two digits number license plate(it means the car have been having a same license plate at least since 1998. ).
Even 4AG club guys didn’t know who was the owner of this car.
■Second Car Nationals 2019?
4AG club, Major Force, Kanuma-Black and Tokyonur, usually at the track they are the guy running and I am the guy taking a photo of them. But this time in SCN we both were entrant. As Lowbrain and Freee’s did “Second Car Nationals”, we did it this year.

Takakuni-san(Major Force) 2dr Levin has been always made fun of the fact he never open the hood(coz he haven’t done engine bay yet) but it’s got hydraulic armor on front and rear(cost almost $10K)

There is no rule, but usually 4AG club doesn’t take off the hood at car show. However, in this car show 2 cars form 4AG club took off their hood.(and kept them under Mitsumori-san’s Hilux lol)

■SCN 2019 Over View
東京オリンピック2020の開催の影響で、昨年で最後の開催と発表されていたStreet Car Nationals(SCN)だが、通称お台場NOP(No Operation)地区の使用期間が延長され、2019年も3月に急遽開催される事となった。
エントリー車両も通常通り1000台Over。
Mooneyes Official Boothに展示された1961 Buick Le Sabre。
文字通り宝石のような輝き。その尋常ではないガラスの透明度に、カスタムカーソムリエ達も圧巻。古いアメリカ車の知識に乏しい自分だが、今回のイベントで最も手の込んだ愛を感じる個体であったのは言うまでもない。ブームやトレンドとは無縁のホットロッド/ローライダーの世界は実にオモシロイ。
■Tokyonur’s Choice
物凄く語弊のある表現にはなってしまうが、AE86はパンダ(白黒)というだけで「大した事ないのではないのかな・・・」というパッと見の印象を受ける。それはAE86にとってステレオタイプな代表色であるからだ。
それを逆手に取ったのかは知らないが、InazumaworxのIkeda-sanのような強烈なシェイブドトレノも存在する。
そして、今回のSCNでもパンダLevinが1台ひっそりと展示されていた。隣りに展示された4AGが搭載された510ばかりに目がいきがちだが、このLevinはInazuma Worxのアプローチとも異なる、SNRとも異なる別のカテゴリーと言っても過言ではない現代のAE86を提案。
“流行りのRotiformを履いて、車高を下げただけの、パンダ”
ではないのだ。
内外装共に、近代的なハイエンドブランドのパーツを惜しみなく投入。
表面上見えるだけでも、”イケてるクルマには付いている”そんな印象を植え付ける”STATUS”のバケットに、Racing Development Okuyamaのタワーバー。
Inazumaworxのようにエンジンベイから極力モノを減らしていくという方向性ではないが、カスタムカーとして別のカテゴリーの立ち位置に存在する手の込んだ個体だった。
更に二桁ナンバーという事に、ヨンエイジイクラブの面々も驚きを隠せないようだった。
オーナーさん誰なんだろうね・・・と突如現れた”近代AE86″は実に興味深い1台でした。
■Second Car Nationals 2019?
ヨンエイジイクラブ、Major Force、Kanuma-Black、そしてTokyonur。走行会では”見るヒトと走るヒト”というカテゴリーに分断されるが、SCNでは魅せる側として団結。昨年、Lowbrain、Freee’sと共に掲げたテーマ”Second Car Nationals”(ハシリヤタチノアシグルマ)を今年も実行。
Taku-san(ヨンエイジイクラブ)が現行クラウンの純正リムをインストールしたサイケデリックなクラウンワゴン。
常に変態的なリアル当時感を探求するKanuma-Black氏は丸目のクラウンバン・カーサイドちゃぶ台仕様。
Takakuni-san(Major Force)は頑なにフードと閉じている事を弄られる2dr Levinだが、前後で100万円近くするハイドロリックアーマーを装備した快適シャコ短仕様。
Sato-san(ヨンエイジイクラブ)は、ヒーターレースに羽目殺しのサイドウィンドウのお馴染みのシェイブドレーシングな3dr Levin。
G-Man(ヨンエイジイクラブ)は、昨年度からの変更点はあまりないが、エンジンベイを魅せるドリ車としては世界トップクラスのお馴染みの”カラシ”で参加。
因みに、ヨンエイジイクラブは鉄の掟というわけではないが、Staticなカーイベントでボンネットを外して展示する事をしない。しかし、昨年カラシのお披露目撮影で行ったフードレスの状態での見栄えの良さ(カラシ色と黒の2色で統一された世界観)もあり、今回は珍しく2台ともボンネットを外して展示された。その保管場所はは隣のブリハイの真下（笑）
そして、前日にお披露目されたMitsumori-san(ヨンエイジイクラブ)の最強のファミリーカーのHiluxと、TokyonurのElementが両端に鎮座。因みに隣りのリフトアップランクル軍団は知らない人達です（笑）
