Pursue the true car tune “Power House Amuse”
The final form S2000 they produced in Gran Turismo 3. Later in 2004, They built S2000 GT1 which became a base of todays Final form. Ever since, it became one of the regular in Gran Turismo and entertained car enthusiasts in all over the world. And of cause S2000 GT1 came back in Gran Turismo Sport, but there are few differences from the previous S2000 GT1.
1, Carbon hood which isn’t painted the same color with the car.
2, R1Titan banner and Amuse original oil “Speedstar” stickers.
3, Wheel offsets.
It must modelized by Polyphony Digital based on actual owner car armored with GT1 kit.
Also, in the GTS it has unique exhaust pipe but its discontinued now in the real world.
Back in the day when the GT1 kit was released, the price was 480,000 yen, which is a reasonable price. Even if you paint, install, and done all the paper work to make it legal, it cost less than 1,000,000 yen.
There are still hardcore fans in all over the world. For example, in the time attack scene in Japan, there is an orange S2000 looks like Amuse demo car back in the day. It’s a replica of Amuse S2000.
The actual Amuse orange demo car is in the garage, waiting for a project to be a real turbo charged S2000 GT1.
Amuse owner, Tanabe-san who passed away in 2008. It was his dream to build a turbo S2000 GT1. And now Matsui-san carries on his dream and spirit.

Gran Turismo 3でAmuseが提案したS2000の最高峰の姿。
その後、2004年に現在のカタチの源流となるS2000 GT1のデモカーが誕生。
Gran Turismoの世界では常連とも言える収録車種として世界中のカーフリーク達を興奮させた。
そして、2018年8月のアップデートでGran Turismo Sportで復活を遂げたAmuse S2000 GT1だが、これまでの収録個体とは異なる点が複数存在する。
まずは同色ではないカーボンボンネット。
“R1Titan”のハチマキと、Amuseのオリジナルオイル”Speedster”のステッカー。
さらに、ストリートカーらしくルックス的にも美しいオフセットに調整されている。
今回撮影した現存するGT1 Kitを装着したこのモデルをベースに、Polyphony Digitalにて新たにモデリングされたのだろう。
また、この個体はリヤエグゾーストが特徴的だが、現在はこの形状エグゾーストパイプの販売は行われていない。
リリース当時、このボディーキットの価格は48万円という比較的リーズナブルな価格設定で販売され、塗装、装着工賃、公認登録費用を含めた金額が100万円を切る事が可能であった。
Amuseには根強いフリークが国内外に存在する。
近年、日本のタイムアタック競技で見かけるオレンジ色のS2000。
実はオーナー自身がAmuseのS2000を再現したレプリカなのである。
本来のオレンジ色のAmuseのデモカーは、ターボエンジンを搭載した真のS2000 GT1を実現する為に現在はガレージの中で眠っている。
2008年に他界したAmuse代表(当時)Tanabe-sanの夢を実現すべく、Matsui-sanがそのスピリットを受け継いでいる。
