Nissan Touring Car Legends // Nismo Showroom

I’ve been Nismo Showroom many times but from April 4^th, they have really exciting line up going on. Three racing cars went through many checker flags in Europe have some kinds of aura that the show room looks different from usual. After walking by R390 GT1(1998) on the wall.

You will see the Gen7 R31 skyline GTS-R which sadly didn’t get the name of GT-R first in the section. It competed in Europ touring car championship in 1988 which was the first skyline Nissan sent as a works car to the other country. BTW it just finished restoring in 2017 by NISSAN meisha saisei club(Nissan special car restoring club)

And you will see P11 Primera BTCC. Many motor sports fun call it as the most favorite race car. Jnn Mardenborough from GT academy is one of them. After JTCC ended in Japan in 1999 it was competed in BTCC with SR20DE(One of the most JDM motor ever).  In 1999 They got Manufacturer, Driver, Team, and Privateer title in BTCC.

At the end, there is GTR-GT3 Nissan works competed in Blancpain GT series until 2017.  Threr is not much to talk since it very new but first GT academy winner Lucas Ordonez drove it.

Nismo will display them at Nissan GHQ, Zama heritage, and Nismo show room. But you should stop by NISMO show room While they have those three race cars all together.

以前から幾度となく訪れてきたNismo Showroomですが、4/4からの展示車両はとてもマニアックです。

いつもと違う気配を感じ取る事が出来るのは、3台のレーシングカーが全てヨーロッパを舞台に活躍した車両で統一されているからでしょう。

壁掛けのR390 GT1(1998)を通り過ぎ、最初に目に入るのが、GT-Rを名乗る事がなかった、悲運の7代目R31スカイラン GTS-R(通称セブンス)。1988年のEurope Touring Car Championshipに参戦した車両であり、スカイラインがワークスマシンとして初めて世界に挑戦した記念すべき車両だ。

因みに、この個体は日産自動車の有志によって運営される「日産名車再生クラブ」によって2017年に修復作業が完了したばかりなので、見ての通りミントコンディションである。

そして、多くのモータースポーツフリークが「1番好きなレースカー」として名を上げる事が多い、P11プリメーラ BTCC。

GTアカデミーのエース、Jann Mardenboroughもその中の1人で、このVodafoneカラーのプリメーラをとても気に入っている。

日本ではJTCCが終了した翌年の1999年にBTCCに参戦した車両で、センター出しのテールパイプに、エンジンは勿論SR20DE。

同年のBTCCで、マニュファクチャラー、ドライバー、チーム、プライベーター部門など4冠にも及ぶタイトル獲得に貢献した最強のFFツーリングカーだ。

その隣に佇むのは、昨年までBlancpain GTシリーズで日産ワークスとして戦った2017年モデルのGT-R GT3。

近代車両なので触れる要素は少ないが、初代GTアカデミーウィナーであり、バーチャルから誕生した世界初のリアルレーシングドライバーのLucas Ordonezが世界のGT3マシンを相手に激闘を繰り広げた車両だ。

Nismo Showroomの展示は、日産GHQ、座間ヘリテージの３拠点の間で流動的な展示となるので、この欧州テイストに統一された歴史展示を一望できる間に、是非Nismo Showroomに訪れ自分の目でその迫力を感じ取って下さい。
